I have been reading a lot about how our animals really can help us when going thru serious stress and major life challenges. Our animals show us so much pure love. The animal method which is based on the healing energy between animals and humans. It is about learning from your animal. Taking natural cues from their natural state, and applying that to your own way of living. I think we can learn so much from our animals daily. They really are simple creatures who love us unconditionally. A simple walk outside makes their day. A treat and holy cow the best day ever!!! It really is about perspective and realizing to find joy in the simple things in life. Dogs naturally meditate daily. They live life in the moment and focus on just being and not doing. That is what meditation is. Every dog I know does this quite often. Dogs completely live in the moment. I think we could learn a lot from our animals. Staying still and not giving in to the constant chatter in our brains telling us what we need to get done is a good start. If it is only 10 minutes a day to just take time out with your dog and try to see life thru their eyes. They truely are magical creatures. They give us all of themselves and if we could just take a little of them with us throughout our daily lives I think the world would be a much better place!!
